You have all of my empathy. Nothing like realizing some piece of electrical equipment was never ordered and it having an 8 month lead time. Been there. It's not fun. Glad you found a solution that might work!
Persistence & being stubborn certainly have their perks sometimes. Fortunately we got approval from the utility to bring the meters inside the basement today so looks like we're pushing forward with it. Not the worst outcome by any means
Not the worst at all! I'm still figuring out how to best stay on top of procurement to avoid issues like this. Currently using excel trackers with columns for ship dates, order numbers, what needs a quote, etc. and Microsoft project for scheduling leadtimes, but if you ever have any pro tips on keeping procurement organized, know you'd have at least one avid reader, haha.
Keep plugging, Jonah. I know it's very frustrating. But when it's finally done it will be a great addition to town. Tom and I were just talking about what a nice view it will be from those rear balconies.
Great read and absolutely key for future lessons learned.
Thanks Nishant!

Man, Jonah! This is one steep learning curve. Kudos to you for your persistence and ingenuity!
🙏🏻 appreciate that!
The view from the balcony is worth a lot !
100%, especially the view of the bridge/water in front (minus the gas station)

Yes! Looking at the plans & imagining them in my head, I didn't anticipate them being this large. Certainly a great amenity for future residents
